Vintage 1930's Stanople Uzuiriope deep cup cymbal made in Italy. As shown in the attached 1941 Leedy catalog, Stanople cymbals were sold by the Leedy drum company in the 1930's and 40's. This 10" cymbal is in very good condition with only one tiny chip along the edge but no keyholing or cracks. It has a clear Stanople and Made in Italy stamp in the plate.At 222 grams, this is a super light weight cymbal with a splashy, funky sound that is typical for this era and type of cymbal. Stanople deep cup cymbals are hard to find these days. It will make a nice authentic addition to any period outfit.
