This is an exceptional 2 ½ octave set of Deagan 1123 orchestra bells. This is an early set of Deagan “Roundtop” orchestra bells with bars 1” wide and 7/16” thick. The set was totally refurbished several years ago by Mallet Instrument Service in Charlotte NC. The original folding oak case, with its original Deagan model plate, has been re-stained and is in excellent condition. The bars have been re-plated and re-tuned to A = 440. This is a great set of “vintage” orchestra bells with a sound that cannot be duplicated with modern sets of today. These sets are getting harder to find so take the opportunity to acquire this set of legendary Deagan “Roundtop” orchestra bells.
