Beautiful, all original, Deagan No. 844 Drummer's Special with original Deagan case. This is one of the later versions of the 844 with height adjustable folding stand and light weight resonators. The frame includes leg extensions which allow the instrument to be played from either a seated or standing position. The playing surface can be tilted to make the instrument easy to play while seated. All parts of the frame are completely original and in perfect working order. The oak rails and keybed felt are also original. The post insulators have been replaced so the xylophone is ready to play. There is no chipping or bar damage and the bars have their original A=440 tuning. The original Deagan case is perfect for transporting the xylophone. There are a few cracks in the hard case but it works perfectly and has a strong, new handle. The Deagan Drummer's special is one of the most popular and useful xylophones Deagan produced. They produce a terrific sound for a compact instrument that is easy to transport and easy to play. This is the perfect instrument for any working percussionist.
