This is an extremely rare one octave plus set of Deagan Musical Coins in perfect condition. Musical Coins are one of the novelty instruments that J.C. Deagan company invented while they were in business. These tuned coins are designed to be spun on a hard surface (i.e. concrete or granite). As they rotate on their small teeth they create a ringing sound at the pict stamped on their face. The coins range in size from 4 1/4" for the low F natural to 2 3/4" on the high G natural. The sixteen coins in this set are tuned chromatically from F natural to G natural, Each nickel plated coin has its pitch stamped into its face. The set is in perfect condition with no plating loss or corrosion. The nickel plating is strong and none of the teeth have been bent or worn down. This is one of the rarest traps to have ever been produced. There are only a few other sets known to exist.
