Hinger Private Collection Now Available
A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
This Deagan model 590 Imperial Nocturne vibraphone, all original and in superb condition, is an absolutely stunning looking and sounding instrument. Deagan did not make a better sounding vibraphone at any point in its history. The original gold bars on this instrument are in perfect unaltered condition. The maple wood veneer on the rails and ends is beautiful and intact. Gold painted resonators and metal pieces are also in excellent condition. The original single speed motor works flawlessly and quietly. All mechanics are original and in perfect working order. There are a few tiny chips in the paint on the resonators, but they are hardly noticeable. This is one of the very best Deagan instruments and a real pleasure to play.
