This is a standard bar Deagan Model No. 64 4-octave Imperial marimba with factory painted brown metal frame. The Deagan Imperial instruments have some of the elements of the legendary King George marimbas from the IMSO. Their tunable, heavy brass resonators and select, high quality rosewood bars, give them a beautiful, rich sound that is on par with the best instruments made by Deagan . This standard bar 4-octave Imperial has graduated bars ranging from 2 1/4" - 1 5/8" in width. The ends of the Imperial models are covered with a sheet of steel that is painted to match the rails, giving the instrument a sleek, distinsguished appearance. This instrument has bark brown painted ends and rails that look rich on a concert stage. The bars are a dark brown and in excellent condition. The strings and insulators have been replaced. The brown painted surfaces are also in great condition with some scratches and dings. This marimba will make a nice addition to any marimba band or percussion ensemble. Combine it with the rest of the Imperal family of instruments to form a top quality ensemble.
