This is a rare 5”x14” standard model Hinger “Touch-Tone” snare drum with a phenolic shell, dated 8/31/76, serial #162. The 5"x14” version of the Hinger drums are hard to find and fewer in numbers than the 6 1/2'”x14” models. This is an excellent drum in perfect, all original condition with the exception of the heads. The phenolic shell and cable snares deliver a quick full response with terrific sensitivity. The Touch-Tone models were specially designed for orchestral music but they are great drums for any style of music or ensemble size. The throw off is a little sensitive to disengaging but can be effectivly managed. This is great opportunity to add a rare drum to your colleciton.
