This Clevelander snare drum was purchased new in 1994. Used with the Phoenix Symphony for many years, it has a calf batter head and blue cable snares. Patterned after the famous Hinger “Pipe” drum, this excellent sounding snare drum has the rare combination of sensitivity and power. This drum has a beautiful 6 1/2" x 14" shell with a buffed brass finish and an engraved shield with serial #32. The throw-off works smoothly and all hardware is original to the drum. These original Clevelander snare drums are very popular wirh their owners and given the fact that they have been out of production for many years now, they do not come up for sale very often. This excellent sounding drum is destined to become a rare classic that should appreciate in value over the coming years.
