This is a beautiful, completely restored, pre 1924, 4”x14” Leedy Multi Model snare drum. The all original hardware has been re-plated in bright nickel and includs early 2 hole elite style lugs, Multi Model stamped rims, round head slotted tension rods, Presto strainer and butt plate. The only non-original components are the mylar Evans batter and Remo snare heads. The original wire wound silk snares are also included with the drum. To make this a good sounding playable drum the snares should be replaced. But, for originality and as a display drum in a collection, the wire would silk snares look great. There are no extra holes and only a couple minor dings that you would have to look very closely to see. The brass shell has been re-painted to match the drum's original black finish. This drum will make an excellent addition to any snare drum collection that is also a good drum for a performer.
