Here is a beautiful original pre- 1923, 6 lug nickel/brass heavy two piece shell, Ludwig & Ludwig 4”x14” Dance Model snare drum. The two-piece shell is stamped with a script Ludwig logo.  It comes complete with single flange brass rims, 6 tube lugs and rim clips. All of the parts are original to the drum aside from a few period correct replacement rim hooks. The shell is in great condition with only a few small dings that are hardly noticeable. These heavy two-piece brass shells are some of the best sounding drums ever produced by the Ludwig & Ludwig drum company. Overall this is a great example of a pre-1923 Ludwig & Ludwig professional line snare drum worthy of a place in a nice collection or used as a player drum.
