This is a beautiful collection of original edition, George Hamilton Green lessons from the "Instruction Course for Xylophone". This collection includes 48 of the 50 individual lessons, each printed as a separate pamphlet. The only missing lessons are numbers 4 and 5. Lesson 9 is missing it's original cover. Each of the 48 pamphlets in this set is in excellent condition with no tearing or water damage. The original paper has yellowed slightly but the lessons are clearly visible and easily read. Each pamphlet, aside from lesson 9, has a beautifully decorated front cover in various colors/ Most of the pamphlets have other George Hamilton Green publications listed on the back cover. These 50 lessons are a great resource for the mallet percussionist and ragtime soloist that are still practiced and studied today, almost 100 years after they were copyrighted in 1926. These original editions will serve as the centerpiece to any keyboard percussion library.
