This is a beautiful 1966 Gretsch catalog in excellent condition. This original color catalog contains color pictures of outfits such as the "Progressive Jazz" and "Name Band" from the round badge era of Gretsch drums. These are the drums played by famous drummers of the era including Tony Williams, Max Roach, and Elvin Jones who are all shown on the first page of the catalog. The back of the catalog shows all of the finishes from the era including Burgundy Sparkle, Jet Black Nitron, and Gold Satin Flame. The catalog is in near perfect condition with the only blemish being a very light name written in the upper left corner of the cover. All of the color pictures are bright and sharp and there are no marks on any of the pages. A few small perpendicular creases along the spine, which are common for a catalog that has been opened, are the only imperfections in this nice catalog. These vintage catalogs are a great resource for the vintage drum collector. All of the hardware, replacement parts, stand, cymbals and traps offered by Grestch are shown in this catalog. This is a great collectible for the Grestch enthusiast.
