This is a mid-1960's 5" x 14", chrome over brass model 4160 snare drum in excellent condition. The heavy brass shell is in excellent condition. All parts have good plating without any rust or pitting. The drum includes the original micro-sensitive strainer, round badge, muffler. and adjustable butt plate. The micro-senstive strainer has a non-original extension lever but is in excellent working condition. There is an original paper tag on the inside of the drum with a stamped model number and 47xxx model number. These are great sounding snare drums that will make a great addition to any vintage 1960's Gretsch outfit.
