This is a beautiful example of a rare, Gretsch Progressive Jazz snare drum in champagne sparkle wrap. Everything about this drum is in perfect, all original condition right down to the Responso snare wires. The early lightening throw-off works perfectly and all of the chrome plated hardware is in excellent condition. It's champagne sparkle wrap is also in beautiful condition. The interior of the 6-ply shell is flat gray with the orignal paper tag in place. The 4" x 14" Progressive Jazz, AKA "Max Roach" model snare is an iconic Gretsch drum from the 1960's round badge era that is perfect for jazz combo work. This snare will look great behind any champagne sparkle outfit from the 60's or 70's.
