Hinger Private Collection Now Available

This is a Leedy Stayon Choke Cymbal holder from the 1930's. As shown in the attached 1934 Leedy catalog, this holder clamps securely to the bass drum counter hoop. It is a 3/8" rod with a threaded top end that provides the extra strong support needed for a choke cymbal effect. The choke cymbal effect consists of an upside down 12" Chinese cymbal with an upside down 8" American brass cymbal laying on top. The overall height of the holder is 5". This nickel plated holder is in mint condition with its original thumb screw. We also have a 12" Chinese cymbal and 8" American brass cymbal available to complete the choke cymbal effect if desired.
