This is a rarely seen, complete, Leedy "Double Duty Cymbal Holder" in nobby gold finish. As shown in the 1930 Leedy catalog, this sturdy, double cymbal holder, allows its owner to hang two cymbals or pairs of cymbals over the top of a bass drum. The upright post clamps to the bass drum hoop with a "bull dog" style clamp, has a wide base with two rubber feet that provide considerable stability, and shows the Leedy "bull dog" stamp in the top of the mount. Each of the two arms has a very sturdy clamp that allows the arm to move vertically as well as horizontally for almost umlimited options for positioning the cymbals. The arms have a disc on each end that allow the owner to suspend the cymbals to allow for maximum resonance. The nobby gold plating adds additional interest to this rare attachment. It is in very good overall condition with some plating loss where the arms travel through the clamps. This attachment will be the center piece for any 1930's Leedy outfit. The cymbals are not included but are available upon request for an additional charge.
