Ludwig model no. 357 bass drum cymbal holder in unused mint condition. This cyjbal holder is in NOS (New Old Stock) condition. It has never ben used and is in perfect condition with al of the original felt and thumb screws in place. The chrome plating is perfect with a clear script Ludwig logo on the clamp. As shown in the attached 1967 Ludwig catalog, these cymbal holder mount on the BD counter hoop and allow the player to mount a cymbal upside down on the BD to be played with a stick or another cymbal. Perfect for opera and Mahler Banda parts. The holder is 9" in length placing the mounted cymbal near the center of the shell of a standard bass drum. These cymbal holders are a useful accessory for the performing percussionist.
