Rare early 1930's Ludwig model no. 670 twin pad BD muffler. As shown in the attached 1933 Ludwig & Ludwig catalog, this version has two pads, each 2" in diameter. The two pad mufflers are rare and most have the larger sized pads. The pads are mounted on a spring steel arm mounted to a clamp that attaches to the BD counter hoop. The felt on the pads is in excellent condition and all parts are original and function perfectly. There is a small amount of plating loss on the clamp and thumb screw. This is a great accessory to add to any early 1930's Ludwig & Ludwig outfit.
