This is a Ludwig Super Speed bass drum pedal in perfect condition. As shown in the attached 1935 Ludwig catalog, this was a top of the line pedal offered by Ludwig from in mid-1930's. This example has perfect nickel plating and is in terrific working order. The woll covered beater ball if original to the pedal. There is one small bald spot on the beater ball head but the wool is clean and looks great with the pedal. This is a great ball bearing driven pedal from the 1930's that will make a great addition to a vintage Ludwig outfit.
