This is a rare early pair of Hinger bass drum mallets with heavy aluminum shafts. Like many early Hinger mallets, there is no Hinger mark or brand on the shaft but these were made for a former student by Mr. Hinger himself. Both of the mallets are in very good condition with moderate wear to the fake fur heads and marks on the shafts but they still have plenty of playable life left before needing to be recovered. These Hinger bass drum mallets have large, heavy heads on on end and smaller, lighter ends on the other making them very versatile, general purpose mallets. This is a great pair of original Hinger bass drum mallets that will make a nice addition to any percussionist's mallet case.
