This is an early, rare pair of Hinger wooden timpani sticks. The shafts and heads of these sticks are either hard maple or hickory. The wooden heads are 1 1/4" in diamter and covered with a thin layer of red felt. Each shaft is straight and in excellent condition with a clear Hinger stamp burned into each shaft. The felt is in excellent condition with only a small exposed seam on one stick. These are nicely balanced sticks which are quite different from other Hinger sticks. They will make a nice addition to a stick collection or players stick bag.
