This drum is very rare and unusual since it was believed that the last of the Parallel models was produced in 1941. Obviously there was at least one Parallel produced after the wartime period (most likely using left over parts). The drum has the third generation Parallel mechanism. While there are no extra holes, the wrap does have some fading. All hardware is original with individually adjustable snares; the heads are newer. This drum is both an excellent player's drum as well as having great collector interest. This drum is both an excellent player's drum as well as having great collector interest.
