This is a rare Leedy publication "Elementary Instructor for the Vibraphone" by Harry C. Thompson. This vibraphone method book is full of exercises for the jazz vibraphonist during the swing era. Published by G. B. Tuthill in 1931 for the Leedy company, this original edition is in excellent overall condition. There is some wear to the paper along the spine but all pages are in tact and without markings. The vibraphone was invented by Herman Winterhoff of the Leedy Mfg Co. so this Leedy published guide to playing the vibraphone will make a fitting companion piece to any vintage vibraphone owner and player.
