Hinger Private Collection Now Available
A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
Beautiful 10" Leedy tambourine and mounting hardware set. This beautiful 10" tambourine has the original calf head, Leedy decal, and jingles. It's an excellent sounding instrument and comes with a Leedy bulldog tambourine mount and Leedy mounting post. Both pieces of nickel plated mounting hardware are in excellent condition with no rust or plating problems. The tambourine can easily be removed from the clamp and played with two hands. Drummers from the vaudeville era often needed to move quickly between instruments making a mounted tambourine a must for many shows. This is the perfect addition to any vintage early 20th century Leedy outfit.
