Rare pair of Leedy model No. 1647 Synco-Jazz brushes. As shown in the 1933 Leedy catalog, these brushes have fixed, non-telescoping wooden handles. The wooden handles are black ebonized wood and each handle is stamped with the Leedy logo, model number and "Made in USA". The wires are nicely preserved with no kinks and few missing wires. The wooden handles do not have any splits, cracks, or chips. The black paint is only slightly worn and the nickel plated brass ferules though sightly dented from play are in very nice shape and tight to the handle. This is a rare pair of Leedy brushes and will make the perfect addition to any Leedy outfit.
