Product Code: TRE129Great sounding set of 1930's Leedy sleigh bells mounted on a fiberboard disc. As shown in the attached 1933 Leedy catalog, this instrument has 12 nickel over brass sleigh bells mounted on a 5: fiber disc. These old brass sleigh bells have an authentic sound unmathced by modern bells. These instruments are fragile so very few have survived. Our sleigh bells have an attractive reproduction walnut handle that attaches to the original disc. The disc clearly shows the Leedy logo. All 12 bells are original and have their original connections to the disc. There was a crack in the disc around part of the handle which has been repaired. The construction of these bells allows the player to make quick, quiet changes since they stand upright on the trap table. This is a rare, sound effect that will make a unique addition to your traps collection.
