Ludwig "Drummer" magazine from Spring 1964, Vol. 4 No. 1. This edition of Ludwig's semi-annual publication shows the soundman Carroll Bratman, who founded "Carroll Sound" on the cover. Inside there is an article about the history of Carrol Sound, founded in New York in 1946. There are also articles by Ed Thigpen and Ray Brown, Frederick Fennell, Vida Chenowith and Hendery Adler. There is also a sidebar tribute to the Beatles featuring a picture of Ringo Starr behind his famous Ludwig outfit. Also included are featured new Ludwig products including the "new" Acousti-Perfect shell design, SuperSensitive parade drums and fiberglass timpani. This 43 page matte copy is in very good to excellent condition with no tears, dog eared pages, or writing. There is a "Don Worth Drum Shop" ink stamp on the front cover. These are terrific collectibles and offer product information and features unavailable in any other format from the period.
