This is a vintage, 1962 edition of the iconic "NARD Drum Solos" collection. These solos were originally copyrighted in 1937 and republished by the Ludwig Drum Company in this 1962 edition. The National Association of Rudimental Drummers (NARD) was formed in the 1930's to promote and codify rudimental drumming. The thirteen original founders are show on the inside cover in a remarkable photo. The 150 solos contained in this book are an excellent resource for any snare drummer. This copy is in excellent overall condition. There is some slight discoloring of the front cover but there are no tears, marks, missing, or dog eared pages. This 1962 edition will make a great addition to any percussion music library.
