Hinger Private Collection Now Available

A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
This is a great sounding Ludwig 3-tone wooden whistle from the early 1930's. As shown in the attached page from the 1933 Ludwig catalog, this is a large three fluted whistle measuring 16" in length by 4 3/8" W x 1 3/4" H. It produces a big mellow sound that can be used as a train or boat imitation. It is in great overall condition with a small repair to the top and a reproduction mouthpiece. This quintessential sound effect will make a great addition to any sound effect collection or trap display.
