This is a rare pair of Ludwig & Ludwig model 591, 5A drum sticks from the early 1930's in very good condition. Not many of these sticks from the 1930's survive today. The sticks are well matched and straight. There are a few nicks here and there and some wearing to the lacquer finish. The early Ludwig & Ludwig brand is clear on both sticks. There are no splits or bead wear and no chipping. This is a great, playable pair of sticks that will make a great addition to a vintage Ludwig & Ludwig outfit or drum stick collection.
