Hinger Private Collection Now Available

A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
This is a rare Ludwig & Ludwig cymbal suspender. As shown in the 1927 Ludwig & Ludwig catalog, the model no. 417 cymbal suspender consists of a 3" long thin leather loop, that fits through the center hole of a suspended cymbal, attached to a 1 1/2" diameter Ludwig & Ludwig nickel plated disc. A standard thick felt cymbal washer rides on top of the metal disc to insulate the cymbal from the disc. This cymbal suspender is in mint condition with a clear Ludwig & Ludwig stamp on the underside and a perfect, supple leather strap. These are perfect suspenders for early Ludwig & Ludwig goose neck style cymbal holders like the No. 426 double post holder.
