Have you ever dreamed of owning a complete drum outfit as shown in a 1930's Ludwig & Ludwig catalog? Here it is! Ours is in one of the rarest Pearl coverings from the period; Streaked Opal, which was only offered from 1930 to 1935. The other rarity on this set is the original Ludwig & Ludwig “Nude Silhouette" on the bass drum head. From the 1932 catalog; “a charming female figure silhouetted in black against the white of the bass drum head, - artistic, dignified, and lovely.” The head has no tears or blemishes making it one of the nicest examples of this original head to have survived. The drums have no extra holes or modifications. The Pearl is in excellent condition. Calfskin heads on the snare drum and bass drum. The traps are in very good to excellent condition with normal wear due to age and use. Note: There is a heater installed in the snare drum and a light installed in the bass drum.
