Hinger Private Collection Now Available

A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
This is a terrific example of the iconic 10” Ludwig double row concert tambourine from the 1960s/70s. The solid, steam bent hardwood shell is in good, original condition. The double rows of 16 silver jingles are also in good condition. There are two small splits in the wood but the strength of the shell is not compromised. The calf head is the original factory head with the Ludwig logo stamped on the inside and has plenty of life left. Overall this is a great sounding, general purpose tambourine with broad application for any kind of music. Pair this instrument with a matching Ludwig 8" and 10" single row tambourine to produce a consistent sound quality through all dynamic ranges.
