This is a pristine Ludwig Pioneer in red sparkle wrap from 1965. It's 3-ply, 5 ½”x14 shell is date stamped April 26, 1965. It has all original hardware including 6 bowtie lugs, baseball bat muffler, triple flanged rims, brass keystone badge with #132xxx serial number and Ludwig snare wires. Even the bottom head is an original Ludwig Weather Master. The red sparkle wrap is bright and well preserved with only one small outline below the badge of a tiny piece of tape that was removed long ago. This drum is a 9.9 out of 10. It will be hard to find another Pioneer from this period in better condition.
