This is a very early Ludwig Standard model snare drum in near mint condition. The drum is all original and appears to be a transition drum from late 1967 or early 1968 at the very beginning of the Ludwig Standard production. The interior of this 5" x 14" snare is white rather than the "granitone" finish most of these drums were delivered with. It has a later Ludwig P-85 strainer along with a 3/4" knob size internal muffler. The shell if covered in brilliant gold mist pearl and all of the hardware is in perfect, unblemished condition. This is a great opportunity to get a late 1960's vintage jazz festival sound at a great price.
