This is a Ludwig Super Speed bass drum pedal in near mint condition. As shown in the attached 1935 Ludwig catalog, this was a top of the line pedal offered by Ludwig from in mid-1930's. This example has perfect nickel plating and is in terrific working order. A unique, articulating cymbal striker that mounts to pedal is included. This is a great ball bearing driven pedal from the 1930's that will make a great addition to a vintage Ludwig outfit.
