Hinger Private Collection Now Available

A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
Beautiful tunable wooden cuckoo imitation from the 1930's. These are great imitations from the vaudeville era that don't often show up today. There is no brand or decal but this model is identical to the cuckoo imitations in the Ludwig catalog from the era. This whistle is in excellent shape and all original. The tuning slide is in perfect working order and the whistle plays beautifully. There is a small amount of wear to the knob on the end of the slide. The hole in the top allows the player to play two pitches roughly a minor third apart. This is the perfect cuckoo imitation and a must for any traps collection or working percussionist.
