Very nice pair of Ludwig & Ludwig 2S "Street" drum sticks. As shown in the attached 1928 catalog, the "S" designation is for "street" playing. These all hickory sticks are in excellent condition for their age. There is some wear on the shafts and one stick is slightly warped, but both sticks have their original Ludwig & Ludwig script logo on the butt end along with Chicago stamped underneath. Few sticks from this era survive in playable condition. This pair will make a nice addition to any collection of 1920's Ludwig drums.
