Very nice pair of Ludwig & Ludwig 2S "Street" drum sticks. As shown in the attached 1928 catalog, the "S" designation is for "street" playing. These all hickory sticks are in excellent condition for their age. They are straight and well matched. There are a few very small dents on the shafts but the finish is nice and smooth. There are no chips or splitting. Both sticks have their original Ludwig & Ludwig script logo on the butt end along with Chicago  and the model number stamped underneath. Few sticks from this era survive in playable condition. This pair will make a nice addition to any collection of 1920's Ludwig drums.
