Here’s a beautiful Ludwig Standard, solid maple shell snare drum in excellent condition. This is a great sounding drum that would also make a nice addition to any collection. The White Marine Pearl covering, also referred to as Avalon Pearl, is in excellent condition with only modest fading. The shell is a minimal 1/16” out of round and the resulting separation of the glue rings has been filled and is hardly noticeable. The hardware is completely original except for the snares, which are also from the same era. The drum is outfitted with tom and bottom calf heads, which are old but may not be original. The Professional throw-off is complete and works very well.
