Hinger Private Collection Now Available
A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
Early 1900's Ludwig & Ludwig set of four tuned cowbells features a very early cowbell mounting system that we have not found in any of the early Ludwig & Ludwig catalogs. Similar clamps show up in music supply catalogs from the early part of the 20th century, but this is the only one of these we have found with the Ludwig & Ludwig logo making this a rare find. The clamp is clearly stamped with the early Ludwig & Ludwig logo. All of the plating on the clamp is almost like new. The four vintage cowbells are tuned to roughly a major triad. The bell sizes are 3", 3 1/2", 4 1/2", and 5". All are in excellent condition. This is a truly unique piece that will be a nice finishing touch to any vintage Ludwig outfit.
