This is a fine example of relatively rare Ludwig "New" speed pedal from the 1940's. As shown in the attached 1940 Ludwig catalog, this is an all original pedal in perfect working order. The pedal body has its original blue paint with very little paint loss. The footboard has the Ludwig script logo on the toe with "New Speed Pedal" embossed in the middle. Everything about the pedal is in perfect condition making this a great addition to any 1940's Ludwig outfit.
