This is a 1964 Ludwig Pioneer snare drum in a rare Bronze Mist Lacquer finish. So many of the drums in this finish have a lot of flaking and peeling but this example is nearly perfect. All of the nickel plated hardware is in excellent condition including NOS rims, red felt baseball bat muffler and P-83 throw off. The 5 digit serial number on the brass keystone badge dates this drum to 1964. The white interior paint looks like new and the drum even has its original snappy snares also in excellent condition. This is a great example of this rare finish and will make a great addition to any 1960's Ludwig collection.
