Hinger Private Collection Now Available
A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
This is a small Ludwig slapstick with a black ebonized finish from the 1930's. Ludwig made these slapsticks in several sizes. This is the smallest of the sizes measuring 12" in length and 1 1/2" wide. The instrument is in like new condition with a clear Ludwig script secal above the handle and little to no wear in the black ebonized finish. There are no cracks nor any rust on the hinge. This is a rare size and pairs nicely with the larger versions on a trap table display.
