This is an early 1970's Ludwig standard Supra-Phonic 400 model snare drum with a Ludalloy shell in like new condition. This was Ludwig's top of the line standard throw off snare from this era  The drum is all original, except for the heads, with a freshly chrome plated shell. All of the hardware is in perfect condition. The shell looks better than new with its professional, modern plating that doesn't have a scratch on it. The snare wires are original script Ludwig logo snares. . These snares were the standard of the time so they are heard on many classic rock recordings from the era. This is a must have drum for any vintage Ludwig outfit.
