As shown in an original 1920's catalog, these horns were designed to be used in the early 20th century motorcycles. a light squeeze on the replacement rubber bulb produces a the honking one would expect from an early 20th ventury motor vehicle. This horn has an 3 1/2" round bell and is made of solid brass This motorcyle horn came from a collection of traps used by a vaudeville era drummer for use in a pit orchestra but it still has it's original handebar clamp. Coiled brass tubing attaches the bell to an adjustable reed that is powered by the rubber ball. This is a unique sound effect that is perfect for all situations from silent movie accompaniment to the concert stage.
