Product Code: DSN14This is a beautiful example of the Super-Sensitive snare drum reintroduced by Ludwig in 1961. The drum has a triple chrome plated brass shell, complete with pre-serial number brass keystone badge, small 3/4" round knob muffler and crimped snare beds. These early 60's Supers also have the heavier walled Imperial lugs making this a very heavy instrument. All parts are original including snare guards. It is outfitted with Ludwig non-adjustable wire snares. Individually adjustable snares can be provided upon request. The sound these drums is legendary and you will not find a cleaner example. With the exception of a few light scrataches on the shell, this drum looks new.
