Nokes & Nicolai cricket call as shown in the attached 1920s Nokes & Nicolai drum catalog. This cricket imitation has a hollow maple sounding chamber that is struck by two small maple balls on sprung steel. Shaking the the call at a fast rate produces a convincing cricket imitation. This is a classic imitation that will make a unique addition to any sound effects collection.
