Hinger Private Collection Now Available

A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
This is a classic early edition of the Gardner Modern Method for the Drums, Cymbals & Accessories published in 1919 by the Carl Fischer music house. This is the first of three method books that make up the comprehensive instruction course by Carl Gardner who was a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra during the early part of the 20th century. This instruction course includes descriptions, pictures, exercises, etudes, and solos. This copy is in good overall condition with some pencil marks inside and a repaired tear to the back cover and some small missing bits from the front cover. This is a rare copy of an early edition of this historic method book that will make a nice addition to any music collection.
