This is a classic early edition of the Gardner Modern Method for the Bells, Xylophone, Marimba & Chimes published in 1919 by the Carl Fischer music house. This is the second of three method books that make up the comprehensive instruction course by Carl Gardner who was a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra during the early part of the 20th century. This instruction course includes descriptions, pictures, exercises, etudes, and solos. This copy is in very good overall condition with a few pencil marks inside, and some separation along the spine. The front cover shows one small missing bit piece near the spine. This is a rare copy of an early edition of this historic method book that will make a nice addition to any music collection.
