Hinger Private Collection Now Available

A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
This is a rare Nokes & Nicolai folding. piano-action bass drum pedal from the 1920's. As shown in the attached Nokes & Nicolai catalog from the 1920's, this early pedal uses the player's heel to activate the pedal. The pedal is all original except for the replaced beater ball. This pedal has a unique telescoping mount that allows the player to move the beater closer or further away from the bass drum head. There is some plating loss but it is in excellent condition overall. Everything operates as it should making this unique, early pedal a great addition to any bass drum pedal collection.
